Featured Artist, January 27: Aurarrius

Aurarrius' works consist of soft shaded, esbelt figures made in Paint Tool SAI. Lighter and darker colors effectively give depth to every element in the picture, being cloth folds and manes a particularly interesting facet.  



Generally talking, by following the paths clothes take in 3D, lines of the same shape are drawn at points from where a fold is going to be defined to borders or joints, then shading according to the light source for giving volume. The set of paths defined this way are what some artists call the "flow" of objects. The curtain and clothes at the first picture below are a pretty good example of this.
